Avoid extra cleaning charges by leaving your apartment clean:
Bathrooms — Please clean thoroughly.
Carpet — Clean any stains that may have been caused by you since you've moved in.
Kitchen — Clean out all cabinets and drawers including removing any shelf paper. Remove all food products from refrigerator. Leave all ice cube trays, butter dish, egg holder, storage bins, etc. which were provided to you. Clean oven, stove top, drip pans, vent hood, and boiler. Clean floors and counters.
Nail Holes / ceiling Hooks — Please remove all nails and ceiling hooks. Maintenance will fill in any small holes.
It is your responsibility to see that all of your possessions, trash and food products have been completely removed from the apartment and the patio / balcony. If you plan to have any furniture (owned by you) picked up by a charitable organization such as the Salvation Army or Goodwill, please make arrangements for this to be done prior to your departure date.
You will be charged for any damages beyond normal wear and tear. This includes mounted wall mirror tiles, cork, wallpaper, contact paper, decorative attachments, and painting of the apartment in any color other than its original color. You are encouraged to restore the apartment to it's original appearance. Workmanship must be professional to avoid additional charges.
Please turn the thermostat off during summer months and set it to 60 degrees in the winter months.
Change of address forms are available from the post office at www.usps.com. Please contact your newspaper office or paper carrier to discontinue service.
Please close and lock all windows and exterior doors and turn off all lights.
Please turn in all keys to the Management Office on the day of your move. If you will be moving after hours, please drop your keys in the mail slot at the office appropriately labeled and accompanied with a move out form, which is in pdf format.
After all keys have been returned to the Office an inspection of your apartment will be done by Management. We encourage you to make arrangements to be present during this inspection, so please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a mutually agreeable date and time.
